Belgium WWII War Cross 1940 1945 with Palms LIIIL Bronze Lion King Leopold III

BELGIUM: WW2 War Cross (Croix de Guerre) 
with palms and bronze lion citations on the 
ribbon. The royal cypher of King Leopold III 
on the palms is of the rare 1st  type (type 
"LIIIL").
According to the 26th February 1919, Royal 
Belgian Decree:
A bronze lion represents mention in the 
Order of the Day of the Regiment while a 
bronze palm represents mention in the Order 
of the Day of the Army.
A nice example of military history and an 
award for excessive gallantry before the 
enemy.
