France WWII French Navy Civil Personnel Bronze Medal of Honor for 30 Years Service Named 1946 by Paris Mint Boxed

FRANCE: Medal of Honor for the Civil Personnel 
of the French Navy, bronze class. 
Attributed to: H. Nicolas, dated 1946. 
In its box of issue.
Hallmarked  and maker marked by the Paris 
Mint on the rim.
The award was instituted in 1894 in order to 
reward civil personnel of the Ministry of 
Defense working on behalf of the French 
Navy.
The bronze class was initially awarded for 
30 years of consecutive service but since 
1976 the service needed to qualify for the 
award was lowered to 25 years.
This version of the medal was awarded until 
1978.
