GERMANY-Imperial Navy (Kaiserliche Marine):
Set of medals and diplomas.
- WW1 "Marine Cross" (or "Flanders Cross").
The Flanders Cross was instituted in 1921 as
an unofficial veterans award.
Just like the majority of the Veteran awards of
the Weimar Republic, only the diploma was
actually issued.
The Cross and the respective clasps had to
be purchased privately by the recipients.
Only roughly 30.000 Crosses were authorized.
- WW1 Commemorative Medal of the German
Legion of Honor.
The medals come with their diplomas of issue
and a set of the respective miniatures.
In addition, a document with the Regimental
Song of the 55th Infantry Regiment of the
Navy.
