GREAT BRITAIN: WW1 (Prince of Wales's) North 
Staffordshire Regiment cap badge - British Army. 
Rare example without the inscription "North 
Stafford".
The Regiment was officially formed in 1881. 
The 1st Battalion of the  Regiment took part 
in operations in the 2nd Sudanese War under 
Lord Kitchener, while the 2nd Reg. took part 
in the 2nd Boer War.
During WW1 Battalions of the Regiment 
served on the Western Front, at Gallipoli, 
in the Middle East, and India.
