Italy WWII Cross for Military Valor Valore Militare 1943 Type B

ITALY: WW2 Cross of Military Valor. 
This is the rare Type "B" version of the medal 
(Alessandro Brambilla's Classification) that 
was instituted in 1943, to be awarded for 
military value. 
In this type the inscription writes "Valore 
Militare" (Military Value) instead of "Al Valore 
Militare" (For Military Value).

ribbon of the War Merit Cross, which is 
quite common for this medal as many 
recipients tried to distance themselves 
from the Fascist Regime.
