Belgium WWII Resistance Medal for the Clandestine Press 1940 1944 Commander's Class

Belgium: Clandestine Press medal with Rosette 
(Commander's Class) for recipients with leading
role in their respective resistance cells. 
WW2 unofficial Medal for the Leading Members 
of the Clandestine Press Resistance Network 
involved in the writing, printing and distributing 
of secret newspapers (Clandestine Press) 
during the German occupation. 
The secret press emerged in Belgium right 
after the Belgian capitulation, and by October 
1940 at least 8 newspapers had appeared. 
By the liberation of the country at least 675 
publications are known as actively distributed 
while 1650 Belgians were executed  by the 
Germans as associated with the publication of 
"illegal" press.
The medal was established in 1950s (probably 
in 1953) by the National Union of Clandestine 
Press and it is extremely scarce especially with
rosette.
