France Saint Helena Medal for the Napoleonic Wars 1792 1815 by Barre

FRANCE: Saint Helena medal. Marked with the 
Anchor (initial mark of Barre, famous medalist, 
1818 - 1878).
Military medal for the companions at arms of 
Napoleon Bonaparte, since 1792, through the 
Napoleonic Wars and until the last battle of 
Waterloo.
On the reverse: "A SES COMPAGNONS DE 
GLOIRE SA DERNIERE PENSEE STE 
HELENE 5 MAI 1821" (To his companions in 
glory his last thoughts, St Helena 5 May 
1821")
The medal was established in 1857 by 
Emperor Napoleon III.
The cross at the top of the medal is intact.
