Imperial Germany - Prussia: Hohenzollern Medal

The medal was established in 1852, by King
Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia and it was
awarded to soldiers and Officers who remained
loyal to the Kaiser and the Empire during the
rebellions of the years 1848 - 1849 (March
Revolution).
The medal was produced by the Royal Mint,
in Berlin, and it was issued by Prussia in
association with the House of Hohenzollern -
the ruling Dynasty of Prussia and the German
Empire.
