Great Britain: 1914-15 Star 
Officially attributed to: 
30845 CPL. R. J. KNIGHTS R.G.A. (Corporal, 
Royal Garrison Artillery). 
Robert Joseph Knights was later promoted 
to the rank of Sergeant and also received 
the British Victory and the WW1 War Medal 
for his participation in the Great War.

The 1914-15 Star was instituted in 1918 and 
was awarded for service in any theater of 
operations between 5 Aug. 1914 and 31 Dec. 
1915 provided that the recipient had not 
already been awarded the 1914 Star.
