Czechoslovakia 2nd Rifle Regiment George of Podebrady Commemorative Medal 30th Anniversary 1916 1948

Czechoslovakia: Commemorative Medal of the 2nd 
Rifle Regiment "Jiriho z Podebrad" (George of 
Podebrady).
The medal was established in 1948. 
It was awarded to the surviving veterans of the 
Regiment during the delayed celebrations on 
the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the 
formation of the Unit in Ukraine in 1916.
Obverse: George of Podebrady, King of Bohenia.
On the reverse: The Hussite shield with the motif 
of the "Zborovsky badge" (a sword pointing 
downwards with linden branch and calyx).
Dated 1916-1948. 
Inscribed IVAN (the city in Ukraine, where the 
Regiment was formed) and LITOMERICE (the 
garrison city of the Regiment in Bohemia) 
The medal is scarce.
