Academy that is being used whenever the Officer
Cadets are outside of the Academy Barracks,
during parades, in balls etc.
Example of the period 1986-1995.
Tailored to fit by the Military Tailors of the Supply
Corps - not a mass production uniform.

this uniform was at the time 1.65 - 1.70cm tall
and weighted about 65-70 kg.
The Evelpidon Military Academy (Greek:
Στρατιωτική Σχολή Ευελπίδων, abbr. ΣΣΕ - SSE),
was founded in 1828 and it is oldest University
level educational institution in Greece.
It provides officers for all the Arms of the Hellenic
Army (Infantry, Armor, Artillery, Signals, Combat
Engineering and Army Aviation), as well as some
of the Corps (the Technical Corps, the Transport
and Supply Corps, and the Ordnance Corps).
The Academy also trains cadets on behalf of
foreign allied countries.
High school graduates enroll in the Academy
according to their score in the nationwide
University admission tests, and following
successful completion of additional physical
and mental testing.
The successful applicants have been scoring
better than 80% in recent years, with top
applicants above the 95% mark.
Studies in the Academy last for 4 years and,
on graduation, the cadets are commissioned
as 2nd Lieutenants of the Hellenic Army.
