HUNGARY: Order of Vitez (Order of the Brave) 
Badge. 
With Sword, as awarded to all military personnel 
with the exception of the National Guard.
The Order was established in 1920 by Admiral 
Horthy and it was the 1st purely Hungarian 
Order after the Separation of Hungary from the 
Austro-Hungarian Empire following the end of 
WW1. 
The Order was discontinued after the end of 
WW2. 
Only 23.800 medals (with and without swords) 
were ever awarded.
A scarce original example of a heavily copied 
award.
