clasps for the Flemish members of the
Belgian Forces (mainly the Piron Brigade)
who took part in the initial stages of the Allied
Occupation of Germany in WW2.
On the obverse: The Belgian Lion between
the arms of a "V" (for Victory).
On the reverse: "Commemorative Medal of
the War 1940-1945", in French and Flemish.
The medal was established in 1946.
