Czechoslovakia: Medal for Service to the 
Homeland. 
On the reverse: "ZA SLUZBU VLASTI" (For 
Service to the Homeland)
The medal was instituted in 1955. 
It was awarded for meritorious service to the 
State of Czechoslovakia and was suppressed 
in 1990.
This is an early example of the period 1955 - 
1960 before the country was renamed from 
Czechoslovak Republic (CSR) to CSSR 
(Czechoslovak Socialist Republic).
