Albania - Communism era: Order of the 40th 
Anniversary of the Labor Party of Albania.
With its box and diploma of issue to a female
recipient - dated 1983.
Such Orders were rarely bestowed to women.
The Order was created in 1981 and awarded 
to the active members of the party who have 
rendered valuable service to the party in 
defending and promoting the Marxist - 
Leninist cause. 
Official movies of Enver Hoxha's funeral in 
1985 show prominent officials wearing this 
decoration and, strange as it is, no other 
decorations at all. 
A rare medal. 
Despite being a former communist country,  
Albania issued medals and decorations of 
high quality and in very low numbers.
