Luxembourg : Medal for the Completion of the

The "Army March" of the Luxembourg Army is 
a 2 days event held annually each May, since 
1967, in the mountainous area around the 
Luxembourg city of Diekirch.
Military and civilians, citizens of Luxembourg 
and foreigners may participate and each 
participant upon successful completion of the 
March is awarded a medal and supplementary 
awards according to his individual performance/
achievements.
The silver grade of the medal, as of this example, 
is awarded for 5th consequent participation. 
The medal is rare, given the small size of the 
Luxembourg Army (less than 500 men).
