On 09 Oct. 1915, the Austro-Hungarian Army 
Group von Mackensen (3rd and 11th KuK Armies 
assisted by the German 11th Army and the 
Bulgarian 1st Army) under the command of 
General August von Mackensen captured (for the 
2nd time - the 1st was in 1914) the Serbian capital 
of Belgrade.
