Zita of Bourbon-Parma (09 May 1892 – 14 Mar. 
1989) was the wife of Kaiser Karl of Austria-
Hungary, last Empress of Austria and Queen 
of Hungary.
These pins were issued for fund raising 
purposes in order to support the war effort 
and they are rare as they remained in use 
for just 2 years (1917-1918). 
Zinc made due to the bronze being reserved 
for the war needs.
