Austria: WW1 Commemorative Medal "Fur 
Osterreich" (for Austria). In its very rare box 
of issue.
Award for the participation in the Great War, 
without swords on the ribbon, for non 
combatants. 
The medal was established in 1932, during the 
period of the 1st Austrian Republic and was 
designed by Edwin Grienauer (1893-1964), a 
Viennese medalist.
The medal bears his signature on the reverse.
