Comheire.
The Order of the Belgian Red Cross was 
established in 1880 in 2 classes. 
It was discontinued in 1940. 
This is a WW1 era example.
The Belgian Red Cross was founded in 1864, 
in Brussels, by Dr A. Uytterhoeven and is the 
oldest of the National Red Cross Societies.
The order is rare in both classes and the named
examples are scarce..
