BELGIUM: Miniature Size set of 4 WW2 medals. 
From left to right:
- WW2 Commemorative Medal with Swords 
for Combatants
- WW2 Armed Resistance Medal
- WW2 Resistance Medal of the City of Ghent. 
Inscribed in latin: "Gandavum" (Ghent) and 
"Cives Magnae Virtutis Colit" (Distinguishes 
Citizens of Great Virtue).
The Medal was instituted by the City of Ghent 
in 1945 to be awarded to those of its citizens 
who actively resisted the German occupation. 
The medal is very rare especially as miniature. 
A full size example awarded to Roger Leon 
Francois is in the collection of the US 
Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington 
D.C.
