Belgium WWII Liberation of Liege Commemorative Medal 1940 1945

BELGIUM: WW2 Commemorative Military Medal 
for the Liberation of Liege on 08 September 1944. 
The medal was awarded at the end of WW2 to 
the Belgian troops who participated in the battles 
for the Liberation of the City and to the members 
of the Resistance. 
Signed by Louis Dupond.
A respective (and totally different)  medal was 
also awarded by the city of Liege for the WW1 
operations, however this WW2 example is a 
lot rarer than its WW1 predecessor.
