reverse respectively.
In its box of issue by DeGreef in Brussels.
The medal was awarded to the members of the 
Army Corps-strength Belgian Forces in Germany 
(FBA/BSD). 
The Belgian Forces remained in Germany during 
the period 1945-2002 initially as occupational 
forces and since 1955 as NATO forces for the 
defense of West Germany. Depending on the 
era, the strength of the Forces varied between 
20.000 and 40.000 men.
