Before Dishonor)
Reverse: The initials of the Union of Intelligence
and Action Service (in French and Flemish)
EXTREMELY RARE medal issued after the end of
WW2 to the Agents of the Union of Intelligence
and Action Service.
These members of the resistance received legal
recognition of their merits by being awarded
military officer ranks as well as the title of "Agent
of the Intelligence and Action" (Decree-Law of 1
Sep. 1944, published in the Moniteur Belge Oct.
15, 1944, supplemented and replaced by Decree-
law of 16 Feb. 1946, published in the Belgian
Official Gazette of 27 Mar. 1946).
