A very rare medal.
In its box of issue by Van Larebeke in Brussels.
This is a post WW2 example, most likely of the 
1950s.
The Federation was established right after the 
end of WW1 as a social and philanthropic 
association focused on providing aid and relief 
to the wounded and mutilated war veterans. 
The medal was awarded for long and devoted 
service to the cause of the Federation.
