FRANCE: WW1 Honor Medal of Railroads, Silver 
Class, awarded for 30 Years of service in the 
railway (or 25 years in the Colonial Railroad). 
Early example, in silver.
Signed by Roty and Arthus Bertrand.
Hallmarked by the Paris Mint on the rim.
In its scarce box of issue by Arthus Bertrand, 
Paris. 
Attributed to Madam Eleonore Flamant and 
dated 1918. 
This is the 1st type of the medal, awarded from 
1913 to 1939.
Medals awarded to females are scarce.
