France WWI Verdun Medal by Augier 3rd Type with Clasp 21 Fevrier 1916

FRANCE: Verdun WW1 Commemorative Medal 
with rare "Verdun 21 February 1916" Clasp. 
This is the 3rd type of the "Augier" version of the 
medal, unsigned but maker marked on the ring, 
with ball suspender.
On the reverse: The motto "ON NE PASSE PAS" 
(They will not pass). 
The Verdun medals were unofficial awards, by the  
municipality of Verdun, to military personnel who 
participated in the  February 1916  battle of the 
Verdun fort.
