France WWII Commemorative Medal 1939 1945 with Clasp Manche by the Paris Mint

FRANCE: WW2 Commemorative medal, with 
"Manche"clasp.
The clasp "Manche"was issued for the naval 
operations in the English Channel.
The medal was instituted in 1946 and was 
awarded to the members of the French Armed 
Forces who participated in the War between 3 
Sept. 1939 and 8 May 1945.  
Signed by F. Josse and G. Simon, hallmarked 
bronze by the Paris Mint.
