FRANCE: Ribbon Bar for the WW2 Dunkirk 
Evacuation Veterans Commemorative Medal.
The "Dunkirk" medals were unofficial awards, 
by the municipality of Dunkirk, to military 
personnel, French and British, who partici-
pated in or supported the respective 
evacuation in 1940.
It is considered the "Verdun" medal of WW2.
This is the rare example with the stamp of the 
Paris School of Arts on the reverse side.
