GREAT BRITAIN - FRANCE: Officer's Cross of
Honor of the Franco - British Association.
The award was created in 1933 by the Franco-
British Association to reward efforts of
promoting the co-operation/closer relations
between the 2 countries.
However, after the outbreak of the WW2, it
was awarded to the Free French and the
members of the French Resistance for
outstanding acts, which supported Britain or
British troops during World War II.
This is the rarest example of the medal that
was awarded for WW2 acts, dated 1940-1944.
