Glaser & Sohn, Dresden, and reflects Saxony’s 
tradition of honoring long-serving veterans. 
Originally instituted in 1920. 
Like most veterans' honors of the time, it was 
banned by the Nazi regime in 1934. 
A rare and historically important piece of 
German interwar militaria.
