Unnamed as issued. Marked by Spink and Son 
on the mounting pin.
The medal was issued on the event of the 
coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth 
(12 May 1937) as a personal gift of the Sovereign 
to members and servants of the Royal Household, 
members of the Armed Forces and to members of 
Governments as well as elected Officials of the 
British Empire and Dominions. 
A total of 90279 medals were issued - all of them 
were unnamed.
