Scarce, early example of the Cross.
On the reverse: "SI DEUS PRO NOBIS QUIS
CONTRA NOS" (Latin for: If God is on Our
Side, Who Can Stand Against Us").
The Order was established in 1922 by Admiral
Horthy. It was issued for outstanding civil or
military merit and it was discontinued after
the end of WW2.
A scarce original example of a heavily copied
award.
