JAPAN: Medal for the Intervention in Siberia, 1918-
1922 (also known as the Siberian Expedition).
The medal was awarded to the military personnel
of the Japanese Expeditionary Forces to Siberia
(1918 to 1922) aimed to support together with the
rest of Allied Forces the White Russians during
the Russian Civil War following the Bolshevik
Revolution of Oct. 1917.
The Imperial Japanese Army continued to occupy
Siberia even after other Allied forces withdrew in
1920.
