Serbia: WW1 Commemorative and Liberation
Medal for participation in the Great War.
With its numbered diploma of issue, dated
1930, to a soldier of the French 60th Infantry
Regiment.
The Medal was instituted in 1920 and was
awarded to Serbian and Montenegrin military
personnel who had participated in WW1 and
also to members of the Allied forces who had
contributed to the liberation of Serbia (mainly
members of the Army of the East).
The medals were produced by A. Bertrand in
France and by H.Freres in Switzerland.

Condition as on the photos: Stains and tears
on the diploma. A stain on the reverse of the
ribbon, probably glue residue.
