Sweden WWI Order North Star Commander's Cross by Carlman Boxed

Sweden: Royal Order of the North Star - 
Commander's Cross. 
This is a WW1 era gilt example, in its case of 
issue by Carlman, Stockholm.
“Nescit Occasum” (Latin: Knows no Decline) 
The Order was established in 1748 by King 
Frederick I, as a civic merit reward for 
Swedish and foreign nationals. 
The medal remained in this form until 1975.
