In its box of issue, with the emblem of the 
United Nations and the letter "F" (for "French 
Version") .
Issued to French Military personnel.
A total of 3421 Frenchmen fought in Korea 
under the command of General Raoul Magrin-
Vernerey  and  distinguished themselves at 
the battles of Wonju, Chipyong-ni and 
Heartbreak Ridge.
