VATICAN: Knight's Cross in the Order of Saint 
Sylvester. 
Silver gilt marked "926" on the ring.
With mounting bar on the ribbon.
The Order of Saint Sylvester was initially 
instituted by Pope Gregory XVI in 1841 and 
was reformed in this form in 1905. 
It is awarded to non clergy, men and women 
who actively promote the cause and welfare 
of the Catholic Church through their personal 
and professional lives.
This example was probably made in the 1930s.
