Services in Mining and Geology - 4th Class. 
The award was instituted in 1965 in 4 classes (3 badges 
and 1 medal). 
It was awarded in VERY LIMITED NUMBERS (a few 100s) 
to workers of the Ministry of Industry and Mining whose 
efforts and contributions have significantly increased 
production and research in geology.
Despite being a former communist country,  Albania 
issued medals and decorations of high quality and in 
very low numbers.
