Albania - Communism era: Order of Labor, 
III class. In its box of issue.
The Order was instituted in 1945, in 3 classes 
and 1 medal, and was awarded in VERY
LIMITED NUMBERS (a few hundreds), to 
workers and institutions that distinguished 
themselves in the "socialist construction" of 
the country. 
This example is of the early quality type, with 
screw back, by the East German maker 
PräWeMa (Präge Werkzeug Machinen) 
Markneukirchen. 
A scarce medal.
Despite being a former communist country,  
Albania issued medals and decorations of 
high quality and in very low numbers.
