Austro-Hungarian Empire: Commemorative 
Medal for the Funeral of Crown Prince Otto 
von Habsburg - the last Crown Prince of
Austria-Hungary.
The medal is in silver color.
On the obverse: The Crowned Monogram "O" 
of the Prince.
On the reverse: The dates "4.VII.2011" (Date of 
Prince Otto's Death) and "20.XI.2012" (his 
birthday and date of institution for the medal).
Crown Prince Otto von Habsburg died in 
Bavaria but the funeral took place in Vienna.
The medal was instituted and was presented 
several months later as a "Thank You" gesture 
to the officially invited participants of the 
funeral and to those who assisted in the 
organization and hosting of the event. 
In total only 2600 medals were awarded, hence 
this is a scarce award.
