The Austrian White Cross Society was a
humanitarian organization similar to the 
Austrian Red Cross. Its aim was to provide 
support to war-disabled members of the 
Austro-Hungarian Imperial and Royal Army. 
It was founded on Feb. 2, 1882 by Crown 
Prince Rudolf.
