Austro-Hungarian Empire: Patriotic badge with 
the portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. 
With the Prussian Crown, Daphne Wreath and 
the Iron Cross with white bordure.
Inscribed "Durch Kampf zum Sieg" (Through 
Struggle to Victory).
These badges were issued for fund raising 
purposes in order to support the war effort. 
An amazing example of early patriotic jewelry,
issued as part of a set of two similar badges
one depicting Kaiser Wilhelm II and the other
depicting Kaiser Franz Joseph. Both badges 
are available in our collection.
