In bronze gilt - marked "BRONZE" on the rim. 
In its scarce box of issue.
The gold Fortitudini was bestowed in bronze - gilt 
(due to shortages of gold because of the ongoing 
war). 
Officers were also eligible for the award (the gold 
Tapferkeit of Kaiser Franz Joseph was issued 
only to NCOs).
An extremely scarce medal which was issued 
for less than 2 years
