Decoration - silver & enameled. 
On ribbon for female recipients.
The medal is hallmarked for silver with the 
old Austrian mark (Wind Dog's head) on the 
ring, with Diana's head and also with "A" 
mark (the quality mark for silver of the 
Vienna Mint)on the suspender. It is also 
maker marked "VM" (V. Mayers und Sohn, 
Wien - Vienna).
