Belgium: WW2 Commemorative Medal for the 
Volunteers who joined the Belgian Royal Army 
at the Recruiting Centers set up in France 
(May - September 1940), following the German 
invasion and the collapse of the Belgian 
defense.
The medal was instituted in 1990 and it is quite 
rare as it had been awarded to the surviving 
veterans only (and not posthumously). 
This is the French version of the medal with the 
inscription CRAB.
