Groupe G was a WW2 Belgian resistance group
whose activities were concentrated particularly
on sabotage of German rail lines.
It is widely considered as the most effective cell
in Belgium during the period.
In 1944, Groupe G, which was consisted mainly
of university students, conducted a co-ordinated
action on all electric train lines in Belgium.
This action alone is estimated to have cost the
German forces around 10 million working hours
of reparations before the communications were
restored.
The overall strength of the Group was less than
3000 members.
