Belgium: WW2 Medal for the War Volunteers of 
the Belgian Armed Forces, 1940-1945, with 2 
clasps:
- "Coree- Korea" for the Volunteers of the Korean 
War - a very rare clasp, in French and Flemish 
language.
- "Pugnator" (Combatant) clasp for combatants - 
direct participation in the war (under enemy fire). 
Rare type, signed JDD.
This is the updated type of the medal that was 
instituted in 1952 and was awarded to those 
who served during WW2 and also to those who 
participated in the Korean War.
Only 3500 medals were awarded in total and 
only a few hundreds were issued to the 
volunteers of the Korean War.
