WW2 era, with the lion rampant on both the 
obverse and reverse side. 
The Military Cross was established in 1885, in 
2 Classes.
The 1st Class, like this example, was awarded 
to Officers for 25 years of continuous military 
service. 
This is a post 1952 issued example.
Extremely rare as the Belgian Army always 
was/is by definition small.
