Class (silver). 
The Order of the Belgian Red Cross was 
established in 1880 in 2 classes. 
It was discontinued in 1940. 
This is the type of the Order that was issued 
since the end of WW2 and it is a lot rarer 
compared to the WW1 one.
The Belgian Red Cross was founded in 1864, 
in Brussels, by Dr A. Uytterhoeven and is the 
oldest of the National Red Cross Societies.
The order is rare in both classes.
